Position Overview

As an Optical Fiber Technician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of optical fiber networks to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of high-speed internet services to our customers. You will be responsible for handling various tasks related to fiber optic infrastructure, including installation, splicing, testing, troubleshooting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced technologies and contribute to the growth and success of our ISP business.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and Deployment: splice optical fiber cables and deploy fiber optic equipment, such as junction boxes, distribution panels, and enclosures, in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Testing and Quality Assurance of fiber optic links using specialized equipment (e.g., OTDR, optical power meter, fusion splicer).
• Conduct routine maintenance activities, including cleaning, inspection, and preventive maintenance of fiber optic infrastructure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or vocational training in telecommunications, electrical engineering, or related field preferred.
