Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Pakistan is seeking an Operations Excellence Lead to drive continuous improvement across plant operations.

You will align initiatives with the Cummins Operating System (COS), optimize processes, and build team capability to enhance manufacturing efficiency, quality, and customer outcomes. You will partner with manufacturing and supply chain teams, coach staff on problem-solving methods, and oversee initiatives on waste reduction, business continuity, and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or plant operations helpful.
• Experience leading CI and improvements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive Operations Excellence initiatives aligned with COS principles and standards.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality.
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement process optimization and waste reduction.
• Support plant maturity goals and execute Operations Excellence roadmap initiatives.
• Drive managed expense initiatives across plant operations.
• Coordinate business continuity activities and operational support for the plant.
• Work closely with manufacturing and supply chain teams to improve end-to-end operational performance.
• Lead and coach teams on manufacturing standards, working methods, and operational best practices.
• Develop and promote a team-based work culture on the shop floor.
• Lead employee engagement, reward & recognition, and capability development initiatives.
• Coach and mentor employees and leaders on continuous improvement practices and problem-solving methodologies.

Job Summary

Provides Operations Excellence support for plant operations by driving continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the Cummins Operating System (COS). Supports manufacturing and supply chain operations through process optimization, people capability development, managed expense initiatives, and business continuity planning. Partners with cross-functional teams to improve operational effectiveness, plant maturity, and overall customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Operations Excellence & Continuous Improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, university degree, or equivalent practical experience required.
