This onsite role in Bahria Town Lahore (10:30am-7:30pm) emphasizes building features with MVVM/Clean patterns, REST API integration, offline storage, and quality through tests, code reviews, and performance profiling.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years building Android apps in Kotlin.
• Solid grasp of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries and MVVM/Lean architecture.
• Experience with Coroutines/Flow/RX Java, Retrofit/OkHttp, Room, Gradle, and Git.
• Understanding of modularization, dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger) and performance profiling.
• Ability to debug across device sizes and API levels.
• Exposure to wearables is a plus for this role.

Responsibilities

• Build new features and screens using Kotlin with Jetpack (Compose or XML Views), and MVVM/Clean patterns.
• Integrate REST APIs (Retrofit/OkHttp), handle offline caching (Room), and background work (WorkManager).
• Write unit/UI tests (JUnit/MockK/Espresso) and maintain high code quality (lint, detekt, ktlint).
• Optimize app performance and ship releases via Play Console.
• Participate in code reviews, grooming, and sprint rituals; document decisions.
