Job summary

Wavetec seeks an AI Solutions Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize AI-powered document and workflow solutions for clients in Karachi. The role focuses on integrating AI-driven products into client sites, balancing software engineering with practical large language models and Document AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience deploying large language models and Document AI in production.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, AI evaluation, and document classification techniques.
• Ability to translate business processes into technical implementations.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs and configure AI solutions tailored to each environment.
• Collaborate with customer operations and IT teams to map business workflows and uncover automation opportunities.
• Design and set up workflows that handle exceptions, approvals, KYC, and other complex scenarios.
• Oversee AI‑powered document extraction, classification, and understanding, ensuring high accuracy.
• Evaluate AI outputs, troubleshoot misclassifications, and continuously improve performance.
• Integrate solutions with on‑premise or resource‑limited infrastructures.
• Work with product and engineering groups to feed customer feedback back into the AI platform.
