Virtual Quran Center seeks a committed Hifz teacher to lead private one-to-one video lessons with learners aiming for full or partial Hifz. The role emphasizes memorisation discipline, precise recitation and a structured revision plan, serving students in the UK, US and locally.
On-site in E-11, Islamabad, Pakistan, with afternoon-evening hours; flexibility around interview; bonuses may apply depending on classes taught.
Hifz is the hardest thing Virtual Quran Center teaches, and the learners who attempt it, whether children or adults, need a teacher who is as disciplined about revision as about new verses. This position is for a teacher with a strong memorisation background who can lead a student through the long road to full Hifz in private one-to-one lessons by video.
A typical week involves hearing the new portion, testing the revision of what was learned before, correcting recitation precisely and setting a manageable plan for the days between lessons. You keep a clear record of each learner's progress, adjust the pace when life gets in the way and send a monthly progress report to parents or to the adult learner. Many students are in the UK and US, so the lessons are scheduled to match their afternoons and evenings.
Salary: PKR 25,000 - 30,000 per month. Negotiable according to experience and skills. Bonuses apply, and the figure can differ with the number and type of classes taught.
