Job summary

Tutoronics is seeking a knowledgeable Geography tutor to teach online to students following the IGCSE, AS Level, and A Level curricula.

You will deliver engaging Geography lessons, using maps and case studies, and assess student progress while adapting to individual learning needs. Live sessions via Google Meet or Zoom will be used.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of online tutoring experience.
• Strong Geography knowledge.
• Experience teaching IGCSE/AS/A Level students.
• Familiarity with Cambridge International and Pearson Edexcel curricula.
• Excellent English communication and explanation skills.
• Ability to explain geographical processes and interpret maps/data.
• Proficiency with Google Meet/Zoom and digital whiteboards.

Responsibilities

Tutoronics is an online tutoring platform connecting students with qualified and experienced tutors to provide personalised academic support. We are looking for knowledgeable and dedicated Geography tutors to teach students following international curricula, including IGCSE, AS Level, and A Level.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and interactive online Geography lessons.
• Explain geographical concepts, processes, and theories clearly using examples, maps, diagrams, and case studies.
• Teach relevant topics such as physical geography, human geography, population, urban environments, climate, weather, rivers, coasts, tectonic processes, ecosystems, and global development according to the assigned curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, revision notes, case studies, and past-paper practice aligned with the relevant exam board.
• Help students develop map-reading, data interpretation, analytical, and evaluation skills.
• Support students with exam preparation and geographical fieldwork concepts where applicable.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
• Conduct online classes using Google Meet, Zoom, digital whiteboards, and screen-sharing tools.
