Job summary

Brickstech is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain and support our growing IT infrastructure in Karachi. The ideal candidate will manage LAN, MAN, and WAN networks, configure Cisco routers, switches and firewalls, and ensure robust security practices across VPNs and access controls.

You will work with OSI layers, IP addressing, VLANs, routing protocols, and network monitoring tools while documenting architectures and improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Networking.
• Hands-on experience with LAN, MAN, WAN and Cisco devices.
• Strong knowledge of OSI network layers.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN and VPN.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• CCNA certification preferred, CCNP preferred, Network+ optional.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage LAN, MAN, and WAN networks.
• Configure and manage Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues.
• Ensure network security through firewalls, VPNs, and security policies.
• Manage IP addressing, VLANs, routing protocols, and switching.
• Work with OSI Network Layers and troubleshoot layer-wise issues.
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades.
• Maintain network documentation and diagrams.
• Provide technical support and resolve network-related issues.
