Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred but not required.
• Proven experience in network administration or similar role.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and other networking protocols.
• Experience with virtualization technologies VMware/Hyper-V.
• Strong troubleshooting and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues and implement necessary fixes.
• Install, configure and maintain hardware, software, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
• Conduct regular backups of data to ensure data security.
• Set up user accounts and permissions on the network.
• Provide technical support to users on hardware and software issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to make improvements.
• Ensure network security by implementing appropriate protocols and policies.
• Collaborate with vendors for procurement of new equipment or services.
• Document network configurations and processes for future reference.
