Mason - Bricklayer

A reputable construction company in Gujrat is seeking an experienced Mason - Bricklayer to join our team. We are looking for a skilled individual who has a minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Mason, preferably in the construction industry.

As a Mason - Bricklayer, you will be responsible for laying and setting bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials to construct or repair walls, partitions, fireplaces, chimneys, and other structures. You must be able to read and interpret blueprints or drawings to determine the layout and materials needed for each project. You will also be required to mix mortar or grout according to specifications and use various tools such as trowels, levels, and hammers to complete your work.

The ideal candidate must have exceptional knowledge of different types of masonry materials and their properties. You should also have strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination. Physical strength and stamina are essential as this role requires lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lay bricks, blocks, or stones according to blueprint or drawings
• Cut or trim bricks using hand tools or power saws
• Mix mortar or grout according to specifications
• Use various tools such as trowels, levels, hammers to complete work
• Repair damaged masonry surfaces using appropriate techniques
• Keep work area clean and safe at all times
• Ensure work is completed within allotted time frame
