Job summary

Harvest Bread is a Lahore-based food manufacturer seeking an ACCA or CA-qualified experienced accountant to strengthen financial control, reporting and decision-making across production, quality, supply chain, sales, finance and admin operations.

The successful candidate will manage accurate accounting records and provide timely financial insights in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve margins and cost control.

Qualifications

• ACCA or CA qualification required with strong post-qualification accounting experience.
• Advanced understanding of financial reporting, GL management, reconciliations and month-end closing.
• Manufacturing accounting experience including costing, inventory controls and margin reporting.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, internal controls, audit coordination and taxation experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Manage general ledger activities, reconciliations, closing procedures, and accounting schedules.
• Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, wastage, production variances, and product margins.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, and performance analysis.
• Coordinate tax, audit, statutory, and regulatory requirements with internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls over procurement, inventory, sales, cash, and expenditure.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, warehouse, sales, and senior management teams to improve financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Identify control gaps, investigate variances, and recommend practical corrective actions.
