JOB TITLE: Manager Partnerships
DEPARTMENT: Business Development
PURPOSE:
To lead the design, growth, and management of Strategic Systems International’s (SSI) partnership ecosystem by identifying, onboarding, and nurturing relationships with technology, consulting, and investment partners. The role aims to drive market expansion, joint revenue opportunities, and long-term strategic alignment between SSI and its partner network.
Responsibilities
- Partnership Development & Management
- Identify, evaluate, and recruit new partners including technology/platform vendors, consulting firms, individual consultants, venture capital and private equity funds, and other technology services companies.
- Structure and negotiate partnership agreements to create mutual value and ensure long-term collaboration.
- Onboard new partners with effective enablement processes, including training, collateral, and integration with internal teams.
- Partner Engagement & Enablement
- Develop and implement partner engagement strategies to ensure active participation and alignment with company goals.
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for partners, addressing needs, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Organize partner workshops, webinars, and events to share knowledge, strengthen collaboration, and showcase joint offerings.
- Revenue Growth & Channel Sales
- Drive lead generation and revenue opportunities through the partner ecosystem.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to co-develop go-to-market strategies with partners.
- Monitor, track, and report on sales performance generated from the partner channel.
- Program Strategy & Operations
- Build and scale a structured partner program, including tiering, incentives, and success metrics.
- Develop standardized processes and playbooks for partner recruitment, engagement, and sales collaboration.
- Continuously assess and refine the partnership program to maximize value and ROI.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in partnership management, business development, or channel sales within technology, software development, or consulting.
- Proven track record of building and scaling partner ecosystems and driving revenue through channel partnerships.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with the ability to engage C-level executives.
- Familiarity with partner categories including technology vendors, consulting firms, and investment funds.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with a strategic mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
