  • Manage system build, testing, validation, deployment, and improvement activities.
  • Resolve technical issues quickly while promoting long-term system stability.
  • Connect instruments and enterprise systems (ERP, QMS, MES) for smooth data exchange.
  • Ensure full compliance with GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, and Annex 11 standards.

About the Role

The Manager, Lab Informatics helps shape the next generation of digital laboratories. You’ll connect science and technology to make lab data more reliable, accessible, and compliant. This role combines problem-solving and collaboration to create systems that empower researchers and strengthen operational excellence.

What You’ll Do
  • Implement and support key informatics platforms including LIMS, ELN, CDS, and SDMS.
  • Manage system build, testing, validation, deployment, and improvement activities.
  • Resolve technical issues quickly while promoting long‑term system stability.
  • Connect instruments and enterprise systems (ERP, QMS, MES) for smooth data exchange.
  • Simplify workflows through automation and more inquisitive digital tools.
  • Measure performance and turn insights into improvement plans.
  • Ensure full compliance with GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, and Annex 11 standards.
  • Maintain clear, audit‑ready documentation.
  • Guide and mentor a small team to grow their technical and analytical skills.
  • Collaborate with scientific and IT leaders to align system goals with business strategy.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 8 – 12 Years of proven experience in laboratory informatics, including 3 years in leadership.
  • Proficient experience using Laboratory Information Management Systems, Electronic Lab Notebooks, Chromatography Data Systems, and Scientific Data Management Systems in GxP settings.
  • Solid understanding of CSV, SDLC, and data integrity principles.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical abilities.
Preferred
  • Experience in a CDMO or global pharmaceutical organization.
  • Familiarity with cloud, IoT, and analytics integration.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
