Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
• Masters in Finance or ACCA/ICMA/CA Finalist.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, corporate finance, and FP&A.
• Proficiency in accounting principles and regulatory compliance; QuickBooks Online is a plus.
• Leadership with team-management and high integrity.
• Excellent communication and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Job description

As the Manager Financial Reporting, you will be responsible for the overall management of our financial accounting department. You will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, manage day-to-day accounting operations, and oversee the preparation of financial statements. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong FP&A capabilities who can improve processes, ensure compliance, and support the financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead and manage the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Operations Management: Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting: Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Controls & Policies: Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• FP&A & Cash Flow: Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and analyze financial data to provide strategic insights to senior management for decision‑making.
• Compliance & Audits: Coordinate and oversee audits and tax filings, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
• Stakeholder Management: Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions as needed.
• Process Optimization: Continuously assess and improve accounting processes to optimize department performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting. Must currently be working in a Managerial capacity.
• Academics & Certifications: Masters in Finance OR a professional qualification (ACCA, ICMA, or CA Finalist).
• Core Skill Set: Strong expertise in financial reporting, corporate finance, and FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis).
• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory compliance. Proficiency in accounting software, with experience in QuickBooks Online being a distinct plus.
• Leadership: Proven track record of team management, excellent problem‑solving abilities, and high professional integrity.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
