Job summary

OceanWave Maritime in Lahore is seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. You will develop and implement ML models, work with cross-functional teams to identify business problems, and collect clean data for training and testing of models.

You will build scalable ML pipelines, analyze model performance, and stay current with the latest ML techniques and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R or Java.
• Experience with data mining, data preprocessing, feature engineering and building predictive models.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems that can be solved using machine learning
• Collect clean and preprocess data for use in training and testing of models
• Build scalable efficient and automated machine learning pipelines
• Analyze model performance and make necessary improvements
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning techniques and frameworks

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Machine Learning Engineer
