Job summary

NextWave Publications in Lahore invites a Machine Learning Engineer to develop and implement ML algorithms and models, collaborating with data scientists and software engineers to build scalable solutions for our products. We seek candidates with strong ML knowledge and experience in Python/R/Java, big data tools, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Math or related field.
• Proven experience as ML Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of ML techniques (supervised/unsupervised/deep/RL).
• Proficiency in Python, R or Java.
• Experience with Hadoop and Spark.
• SQL ETL data extraction/transform/load.
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

As a Machine Learning Engineer you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning algorithms and models to solve complex problems You will work closely with data scientists and software engineers to build and deploy scalable solutions Your role will involve researching designing and implementing cutting-edge machine learning techniques to improve our products and services

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models
• Collaborate with data scientists to identify business problems that can be solved using machine learning
• Work with software engineers to build scalable solutions that integrate machine learning components
• Research and implement cutting-edge machine learning techniques
• Evaluate the performance of existing models and make improvements as necessary
• Develop data pipelines to ensure the smooth flow of data for training and deployment of models
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in machine learning technology

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Mathematics or a related field
• Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or a similar role
• Strong understanding of machine learning techniques such as supervisedunsupervised learning deep learning reinforcement learning etc
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python R or Java
• Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop Spark etc
• Working knowledge of SQL databases for data extraction transformation and loading ETL
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
