Job description

At Inbox Business Technologies, we are looking for a manager to design, deploy, and support enterprise virtualization environments using VMware and Hyper‑V. The ideal candidate will drive performance tuning, capacity planning, high‑availability configuration, and ensure smooth, secure operation of virtual infrastructure in a 24x7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer, design, and deploy virtual infrastructure using VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper‑V technologies.
• Perform performance tuning and capacity planning for both virtual and physical infrastructure.
• Configure and troubleshoot advanced virtualization features, including High Availability (HA), Site Recovery Manager (SRM), Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), Resource Pools, RDMs, vMotion, Storage vMotion, and Microsoft Cluster Services (MSCS).
• Manage networking components within the virtual infrastructure, including standard and distributed vSwitches, port groups, VLAN tagging, network security, and teaming policies.
• Monitor and report on virtual infrastructure performance using tools such as vCenter, SCVMM, and Veeam ONE.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation, including SOPs, KPIs, SLAs, and change records.
• Ensure change‑management compliance and successful implementation of system changes.
• Support 24x7 operations, including on‑call rotation, incident response, and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and Hyper‑V platforms.
• Deep understanding of virtualization concepts, system performance monitoring, and high‑availability architectures.
• Familiarity with Veeam ONE, SCVMM, and other monitoring/reporting tools.
• Experience with storage integration, RDMs, and clustering technologies.
• Good knowledge of change‑management processes and ITIL practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Strong commitment to system uptime, reliability, and SLA adherence.
