Job summary

Creative Chaos in Lahore is seeking a Principal Software Engineer (Python) to lead server-side development across platforms and ensure security, performance, and reliability of RESTful services.

You will mentor engineers, drive best practices, collaborate with clients, and guide architectural decisions while delivering robust backend systems using Python and Django, with exposure to Azure/AWS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-8 years of professional software experience.
• Extensive Python experience using Django framework.
• Backend components and Restful APIs development.
• Knowledge of security standards and compliances.
• Experience with relational and schemaless databases (Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB).
• Unit tests with coverage goals; GitHub and JIRA familiarity.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers and mentor members.
• Analyze business requirements and estimate tasks.
• Write code and unit tests with high coverage.
• Collaborate with team members and clients; provide status updates.
• Maintain systems by fixing issues and upgrading skills.
• Research new technologies and guide architectural decisions.
