Job summary

HBL Lead Information Security Automation Specialist in Pakistan is sought to lead and execute strategic initiatives within the Cyber Security Solutions Implementation & Automation group. Based in Karachi, you will drive automation across the security lifecycle and collaborate with IT and IS stakeholders.

You will mentor junior team members, champion secure-by-design practices, and communicate insights to technical teams and executives while ensuring robust, scalable, and user-friendly security

Qualifications

• Master's in Computer Science, Information Security or IT.
• 8 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Cyber Security Solutions Implementation & Automation in leading and executing team-wide projects and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Cyber Security Solutions Implementation & Automation in leading and executing team-wide projects and strategic initiatives.
• Champion the integration of security considerations throughout the entire project lifecycle, from planning to execution.
• Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with key IT and Information Security (IS) stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
• Gather, analyze, and synthesize complex technical and business information to support sound tactical decision-making.
• Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to diverse audiences, including technical teams and executive leadership.
• Proactively embed security best practices and user-centric design principles into project planning and delivery.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and professional development.
• Collaborate closely with IS teams to ensure the delivery of robust, scalable, and user-friendly security solutions.
• Responsible to drive the security assessment, tracked identified finding and remediated effectively.

People Management

• Establish and nurture professional relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders across the entire bank, including IT and Information Security (IS) departments.
• Communicate technical and non-technical information clearly and concisely to a wide range of audiences, including analysts, technical specialists, and business stakeholders.
• Adapt communication style to suit both technical and non-technical stakeholders across various business units.
• Foster effective collaboration and ensure alignment with IS teams and broader bank stakeholders through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
