vFairs is seeking an experienced Lead AI Engineer to build and scale AI-powered features within our virtual events platform. You will work at the intersection of product and AI infrastructure, designing, building, and shipping intelligent agents that streamline event setup for organizers and attendees alike.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on production experience with LangGraph and FastAPI.
• Experience designing multi-step or multi-agent systems.
• Strong Python skills with LLM-powered apps.
• Experience with MCP or similar tool/agent-to-application patterns.
• Experience with vector databases and SQL-based retrieval.
• Solid understanding of LLM application architecture.
• Judgment on autonomy: when to act vs. pause.
• Strong cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Define autonomous AI agents architecture and standards across the org.
• Govern MCP infrastructure security and expansion patterns.
• Lead the full lifecycle of agentic features from R&D to production.
• Collaborate with Product and other teams to align AI roadmap.
