Job summary

Jobzlelo is seeking a diligent laboratory technician to gather, label, receive and analyze samples using testing tools. You will plan and implement tests according to guidelines, record observations, and present findings in the required format.

You will also maintain logs, sanitize and calibrate equipment, and ensure safety procedures are followed while ordering supplies and providing technical support as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with laboratory testing and sample analysis.
• Ability to record observations in written or electronic format.
• Ability to ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Ability to maintain logs and calibration records.
• Ability to procure lab supplies as required.

Responsibilities

• Gathering, labeling, receiving, and analyzing substances or samples using testing tools.
• Plan, design and implement laboratory testing per guidelines, recording observations and presenting findings.
• Record all experimental information and test outcomes in correct format.
• Store chemicals, fluids, and gases per safety instructions.
• Ensure safety strategies are followed in the lab.
• Keep regular logs.
• Sterilize, clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory tools.
• Order laboratory supplies as required.
• Deliver technical support when required.
