Job summary

Ecojob is seeking an entry-level Truck Driver to operate a heavy commercial vehicle across Karachi and surrounding areas. You will follow safety regulations, load/unload cargo, and maintain delivery records.

Requirements include a commercial driver's license in Karachi, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass background checks and drug tests. This is a contract role with a fixed monthly salary and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license for commercial vehicles in Karachi.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Physical ability to load/unload cargo and operate heavy vehicles.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification (graduates preferred).
• Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, clients, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a heavy commercial vehicle on designated routes.
• Load and unload cargo in a timely manner.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Communicate with dispatchers to plan routes and delivery schedules.
