Job summary

Our Client, a Karachi based company seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following project-based position: JUNIOR MANAGEMENT POSITIONS - INFORMATION & OPERATIONAL TECHNOLOGY (2 YEARS CONTRACT)

Job Role

We are looking for motivated and skilled engineers to join our digital, IT, and automation teams. The selected candidates will contribute to projects across IT Core Infrastructure, SAP, Software Development, Operational Technology (OT), and Security Operations (SOC), supporting the company's journey toward a smarter, secure, and digitally transformed enterprise.

Security Operations (SOC)
Key Responsibilities
  • Support continuous monitoring of network, system, and application security alerts
  • Assist in incident detection, analysis, and response under supervision of senior SOC analysts
  • Maintain and update security monitoring tools, dashboards, and documentation
  • Collaborate with IT and OT teams to enhance threat visibility and strengthen cyber defence posture
Education
  • Minimum 16 years of education, preferably Masters from a renowned HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder institution, preferably in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Software, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or relevant qualification.
Experience
  • Preferably 3-4 years of professional experience, in a large national/multinational organization among which 1-2 years of related functional experience in a similar role at an equivalent position.
Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript (for front-end), and Python, Java, or Node.js (for back-end)
  • Basic understanding of automation tools
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, VBA, etc.) is a plus
  • Basic understanding of Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL
  • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is an advantage.
  • Basic familiarity with any low-code/no-code tools or business process platforms
  • Understanding of databases and workflows is preferred
Age

The candidate should preferably be not more than 33 years of age as of the last date of submission of application.
