Junior Database Administrator

Our fast-growing company is seeking a highly motivated Junior Database Administrator to join our team in Faisalabad. As a Junior DBA, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining databases for our clients. You will also monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term growth within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure databases according to client requirements
• Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve any database-related issues
• Collaborate with software developers to optimize database design for efficient data retrieval
• Create and maintain documentation on database configurations and procedures
• Provide technical support to clients as needed
• Stay current with industry trends and developments in database technology

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of SQL language and relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
• Familiarity with database administration tools such as SQL Server Management Studio or Oracle Enterprise Manager
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working as a Database Administrator or similar role is a plus but not required.
