Job summary

Macquarie Group is seeking a Cloud Engineer to diagnose AWS Cloud issues, optimize deployments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery. You will work in a dynamic environment that emphasizes automation, security, and reliability.

Strong knowledge of public/private cloud and multi-cloud migrations, plus scripting and CI/CD expertise, will help you drive scalable solutions and better operational outcomes. Hybrid work arrangements may apply.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will diagnose and resolve AWS Cloud customer issues, manage service-wide communications, and improve support processes. You will collaborate with technology teams to transform application and infrastructure deployment, ensuring successful adoption and optimization of AWS Cloud solutions.

What you offer

• Strong technical expertise in public/private cloud environments, with experience in multi-cloud workload migration
• Broad knowledge of system integration, considering architecture, security, and resilience
• Skilled in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
• Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation, with solid networking and security knowledge
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, able to work independently and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
