Job summary

EcoFarm Solutions is seeking a Junior Accountant to support the finance team in Faisalabad. The role involves assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, maintaining precise records, and handling basic bookkeeping tasks.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s in accounting (or be studying in an accounting program) with 1+ year of related experience or internships. Proficiency in Excel and strong organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, or current students in an accounting program.
• 1+ year of experience in a similar role; internship experience considered.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office tools.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
• Perform basic bookkeeping tasks such as recording income and expenses.
• Prepare and submit tax returns and other required documents.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant accounting laws and regulations.
