BLAS Pakistan in Lahore is seeking an enthusiastic accounting professional to join our team. You will support bookkeeping and financial operations for North American clients from our Lahore office, focusing on accuracy and timely processing.

The role involves onboarding new clients, posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and maintaining internal controls under guidance from senior accountants. English communication skills are essential for written and verbal tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, commerce or related field with strong academic performance.
• Prior use of accounting software preferred.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional accounting and operational service to clients.
• Support client onboarding processes for new engagements in accordance with defined processes.
• Compile data provided by clients, such as invoices, receipts, and bank statements.
• Record financial transactions and post journal entries within accounting system.
• Reconcile accounts on time and implement actions to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
• Make adjusting entries where necessary and as advised by managing accountant.
• Comply with accounting standards and ethics.
• Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
• Coordinate with North American colleagues and other business lines, as necessary.
