Job summary

Volga Partners seeks language professionals for a long-term AI evaluation and annotation project. You will review AI outputs, annotate data, and provide feedback to improve accuracy and reliability. Ideal candidates bring linguistics/localization experience, strong Italian skills, and a background in QA or related fields.

This is an independent contractor role with daily reporting and client meetings. The engagement requires consistent availability, eight-hour shifts, and core PST hours.

Qualifications

• Must have strong Italian language skills and excellent written/verbal communication.
• Extensive experience in localization, AI training, or related field.
• Experience in annotation, evaluation, translation, localization, linguistics, research, education, or QA is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated responses for clarity, accuracy, correctness, relevance, and quality.
• Annotate and label language content according to project guidelines.
• Generate or evaluate prompts based on assignment requirements.
• Identify linguistic errors, dataset concerns, and structural inconsistencies.
• Provide clear, structured feedback to improve AI performance.
• Communicate language requirements clearly to linguistic and non-linguistic stakeholders.
• Collaborate with QA Leads and clients to apply feedback and maintain quality standards.
• Attend daily client meetings with camera on.
• Submit daily work reports and meet productivity and quality expectations.
