Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Job Description
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems efficiently.
- Assist in the installation and configuration of new systems and applications.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery processes.
- Document support tickets and maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions.
- Act as 1st point of contact for assigned tasks.
- Diagnose hardware/software or networking faults and resolve remotely for clients.
- Provide technical support across the company.
- Liaise with Service Delivery Department to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Proactively work with recruitment team to on-board field engineers by conducting vetting calls.
- Update clients timely on assigned tasks and provide technical reports.
- Assist Field Engineers (FEs) with their technical queries and procedural documentation.
- Prepare FEs for tasks and ensure they are updated with the scope of work.
- Follow diagrams and written instructions to install/troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure all deliverables are completed by the assigned FE.
- Plan future improvements and suggest IT solutions to business problems.
- Ability to manage and prioritize numerous tasks/evaluations at one time.
- Possibly train junior staff.
Requirements & Skills
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and TCP/IP protocols.
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of ticketing systems is a plus.
