JOB TITLE: IT Programs & Funding Analyst
PURPOSE:

The IT Programs & Funding Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving organizational innovation by managing the end‑to‑end process of securing internal and external funding for IT initiatives. This role ensures that all submissions are technically sound, financially justified, and strategically aligned with business goals. Success in this role will directly impact the organization’s ability to fund, pilot, and scale innovative IT solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of IT innovation funding applications from idea intake through to submission and follow‑up.
  • Serve as the subject‑matter expert on funding frameworks and partner programs, guiding internal stakeholders through each stage.
  • Maintain the application pipeline, track key deadlines, and ensure all submission requirements and documentation gates are met.
  • Research, draft, and compile all components of funding proposals, including concept notes, business cases, financial models, technical narratives, and resource plans.
  • Build detailed, data‑driven business cases highlighting strategic fit, measurable value, and alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Develop comprehensive financial analyses including TCO, ROI, cost‑benefit, and detailed budget allocations.
  • Prepare technical documentation such as architecture narratives, compliance statements, and feasibility assessments.
  • Outline team structures, partner ecosystems, and operational delivery plans within proposals.
  • Conduct technical and market research to validate proposals and assess innovation potential.
  • Perform risk identification and develop mitigation strategies for proposed initiatives.
  • Ensure all documentation fully complies with governance, formatting, and program‑specific requirements.
  • Track and report key performance metrics, including application success rate, submission quality, pipeline velocity, and total funding secured.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve submission effectiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in business analysis, technical writing, project coordination, or a similar analytical role within an IT or cloud environment.
  • Strong written communication skills with proven ability to craft clear, persuasive business and technical documentation.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel with demonstrated experience in financial modelling and data analysis.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business language for executive and financial stakeholders.
  • Experience with structured funding or grant application processes preferred.
  • Understanding of cloud economics (TCO, ROI, OpEx vs. CapEx) and experience building business cases for cloud solutions preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles (SDLC).
  • Interest in IT innovation and emerging technology trends.
