Job summary

SpeedLine Logistics UAE is seeking an experienced IT Manager for our Karachi-based operations. You will oversee IT systems, security, and infrastructure while leading a team of IT professionals. The role requires strategic planning and hands-on leadership to align IT with business goals.

The position is full-time in Karachi, offering visa sponsorship where applicable and accommodation assistance. Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar IT management role.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, software development, database management, and cybersecurity principles.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Experience developing IT strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to information technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT strategies and plans in line with business objectives.
• Manage and maintain all company hardware, software, networks, and systems.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure the security of all company data and systems through regular backups and risk assessments.
• Manage a team of IT professionals, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee the implementation of new software, hardware, or systems as needed.
• Develop policies and procedures for IT operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor system performance to identify potential issues or risks and take appropriate action to address them.
