Job summary

leading-edge is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst to support bankers across mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt offerings, and strategic advisory assignments. You will analyze financial data, develop financial models, and craft client presentations under supervision.

In this role, you will work with senior bankers, build valuation and merger models, and prepare pitch books while coordinating with cross-functional teams to shape client strategies and market insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of investment banking or related experience.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, industry trends, and market data to support client transactions.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models, including valuation models, merger models, and leveraged finance models.
• Create client presentations, pitch books, and other marketing materials.
• Conduct research and due diligence on clients, industries, and markets.
• Work closely with senior bankers to develop and execute client strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including equity research, sales and trading, and capital markets.
