INTECH Automation Intelligence invites applications for a Trainee Engineer role in Lahore. Fresh graduates with up to 1 year of experience will gain hands-on exposure to automation systems across Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Utilities, and Renewable energy contexts.

You will assist with installation, testing, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting while developing skills in PLC/SCADA, DCS, SIS, and Fire & Gas implementations on live sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of industrial automation, control systems, PLCs, SCADA, and instrumentation.

• Participate in structured training programs covering automation, control, and instrumentation systems.
• Assist senior engineers with installation, testing, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting of automation and control systems.
• Support site surveys, technical assessments, and data collection under supervision.
• Gain practical experience with PLC/SCADA/DCS/SIS and Fire & Gas systems through project assignments and site activities.
• Develop foundational PLC/SCADA programming, testing, and commissioning skills.
• Review and interpret engineering documents such as P&IDs and control diagrams.

INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Trainee Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on advancing process automation solutions across industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Utilities, and Renewable Energy. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative projects involving Integrated Control Systems, SCADA Virtualization, Wellhead Automation, and Telecommunication. As part of INTECH, you will engage with vendor-neutral, customized control, safety, and automation systems designed to optimize operations and enhance reliability across diverse industrial sectors. The company operates globally with offices in strategic regions including the USA, the Middle East, West Africa, and CIS, supported by manufacturing facilities in Houston, Al Khobar, and Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in structured training programs covering automation, control, and instrumentation systems used in industrial projects.
• Assist senior engineers with installation, testing, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting of automation and control systems.
• Support site surveys, technical assessments, and data collection under supervision.
• Gain practical experience with PLC, SCADA, DCS, SIS, and Fire & Gas systems through project assignments and site activities.
• Develop foundational skills in PLC/SCADA programming, testing, and commissioning.
• Assist in control system engineering tasks and gain exposure to DCS, SIS, and Fire & Gas system implementation.
• Learn to review and interpret engineering documents such as P&IDs, Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), Cause & Effect diagrams, control narratives, and philosophies.
• Coordinate with senior engineers and support communication with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Support project monitoring activities including schedules, site progress, technical deliverables, and assigned tasks.
• Participate in technical training sessions to continuously enhance knowledge of automation and control technologies.
• Maintain strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements and safe working practices on all project and customer sites.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience are encouraged to apply.Basic understanding of industrial automation, control systems, PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings such as P&IDs and control diagrams is advantageous.
• Basic programming knowledge is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop hands‑on technical expertise.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced project environment.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer/project sites as required.
• Commitment to HSE and safe working practices.
