Job summary

PsychPlus is seeking an Insurance Verification Specialist to join our Lahore team. This role supports U.S. mental health Revenue Cycle Management and requires hands-on CollaborateMD experience and knowledge of insurance verification.

The ideal candidate will verify eligibility and benefits, determine prior authorizations, and maintain accurate records, while collaborating with scheduling, billing, and clinical operations in a morning shift.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using CollaborateMD.
• Experience in U.S. healthcare insurance verification.
• Experience in Mental Health/Behavioral Health/Psych Psychiatry verification.
• Strong English verbal and written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Ability to work onsite in Lahore during morning shift.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage for services.
• Review benefits, deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket costs.
• Verify behavioral and mental health benefits per patient plan.
• Determine prior authorizations and referrals.
• Contact insurers to confirm coverage and resolve issues.
• Document eligibility and benefits in CollaborateMD.
• Review patient demographics and insurance accuracy.
• Identify inactive or incomplete insurance information.
• Communicate issues to scheduling, billing, and clinical teams.
• Follow up on verification requests and unresolved coverage.
• Maintain accurate verification records and docs.
• Meet productivity and accuracy targets.

Location: Lahore, Pakistan

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Location: Onsite

Schedule: Morning Shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM OR 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Salary: Up to PKR 100,000 per month, based on qualifications and experience

About the Role

PsychPlus is seeking an experienced Insurance Verification Specialist to join our Lahore team.

This role supports U.S. mental and behavioral health Revenue Cycle Management operations. The ideal candidate has recent hands-on experience working with CollaborateMD and direct experience with insurance verification and benefits verification within the Mental Health, Behavioral Health, or Psychiatry specialty.

CollaborateMD experience and mental health specialty experience are required for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage for scheduled and active services
• Review insurance benefits, deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket responsibilities
• Verify behavioral health and mental health benefits based on the patient's plan
• Determine prior authorization, referral, and other payer requirements
• Contact insurance companies to confirm coverage and resolve verification issues
• Document eligibility and benefit information accurately in CollaborateMD
• Review patient demographic and insurance information for accuracy
• Identify inactive, incorrect, or incomplete insurance information
• Communicate insurance-related issues to scheduling, billing, and clinical operations teams
• Follow up on pending verification requests and unresolved coverage issues
• Maintain accurate verification records and supporting documentation
• Meet established productivity, accuracy, and turnaround time expectations

Required Qualifications

• Recent hands-on experience using CollaborateMD is required
• Recent experience in U.S. healthcare insurance verification is required
• Mental Health, Behavioral Health, or Psychiatry insurance verification experience is required
• Strong understanding of U.S. health insurance terminology and processes
• Experience verifying eligibility, benefits, deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and patient responsibility
• Understanding of prior authorization and referral requirements
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets skills
• Ability to research and resolve insurance coverage discrepancies
• Ability to work onsite in Lahore during the assigned morning shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with U.S. behavioral health or psychiatric practices
• Experience with U.S. commercial insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid
• Experience verifying benefits for outpatient behavioral health services
• Experience with CPT codes and payer-specific coverage requirements
• Experience with other EMR, EHR, or practice management systems
• Experience working within a U.S. healthcare Revenue Cycle Management environment
