Job summary

PwC A.F. Ferguson & Co. in Karachi seeks a Project Trainee to join the Independence & Compliance team, helping deliver compliance monitoring and independence assessments.

The role targets fresh graduates with a BS Accounting & Finance, offering exposure to global PwC processes, data entry, training, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will participate in an international network, support engagement teams, and contribute to building trust and risk management across the firm.

Qualifications

• Fresh Graduate – BS Accounting & Finance.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into the Independence compliance system, utilizing your knowledge of organizational hierarchies, mega conglomerates, and group structures to accurately set them up within the system.
• Participate in an international network of Independence specialists.
• Advise engagement teams on the application of Independence rules and policies.
• Train users and ensure the correct use of PwC Global compliance systems.
• Develop training materials and process documents, and deliver Independence & Compliance training across the firm.
• Ensure Independence controls and Compliance monitoring activities are appropriately applied.
• Manage service delivery to ensure that Independence & Compliance queries are answered promptly.
• Use feedback and reflection to develop self-awareness, personal strengths and address development areas.
• Review your work and that of others for quality, accuracy and relevance.
