Job summary

Ingredion in Faisalabad, Pakistan, is seeking an Imports Lead to manage end-to-end import operations for plant machinery, spares, and chemicals. You will oversee QEM preparation, vendor negotiations, customs clearance, and documentation in full compliance with policies.

Reporting to the Manager Procurement Pakistan, you will coordinate with banks, government bodies, and internal teams to optimize duties, freight, and import costs while ensuring timely delivery and accurate financial postings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in commerce, business, IT or science.
• 3–5 years of work experience in imports.
• Trade compliance with import/export regulations and incoterms.

Responsibilities

• Imports Operation Management including QEM preparation and approvals and customs clearance.
• Coordinate with banks, suppliers, and government bodies for import documentation and payments.
• Prepare landed cost analyses and manage PO and contracting activities.
• Lead cost-saving and process-optimization initiatives for imports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and SOPs for imports of machinery and materials.
