Job summary

SMEC in Swat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is seeking a Site Supervisor for a key hydropower project. The role involves supervising day-to-day civil construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to drawings, specifications, and schedules, while coordinating with engineers, contractors and site teams.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in civil construction or site supervision, a B.Sc in Civil Engineering, and strong teamwork and communication skills to drive timely, quality execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of civil construction or site supervision experience.
• Experience on hydropower, infrastructure, dams, or similar projects is desirable.
• Understanding of civil construction methods, site activities, and safety practices.
• Strong communication and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors and site teams to monitor progress.
• Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Prepare reports and maintain project documentation.
• Assist in managing resources including labor, materials and equipment.
• Support senior engineers in troubleshooting on-site issues.
