Job summary

International Safety Solution in Pakistan seeks a proactive HSE Officer to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across the plant. You will promote a safe working environment, conduct risk assessments, and implement HSE policies and procedures.

The role involves coordinating inspections, safety audits, training sessions like toolbox talks, incident investigations, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in HSE, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• NEBOSH IGC and IOSH certifications preferred.
• Proficient in risk assessment, safety audits, incident investigation, HSE compliance and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Implement HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards across the plant.
• Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify potential hazards.
• Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations.
• Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for employees.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor the use of PPE and ensure safe working practices.
• Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, incident logs, and compliance documentation.
• Monitor waste management, environmental controls, and housekeeping practices.
