SAS Enterprises is seeking an experienced IT leader to oversee hospital IT operations, ensuring secure, reliable, and integrated technology that supports clinical and administrative functions.

The role covers network infrastructure, software integration (Softronic, HR systems), cybersecurity, disaster recovery, CCTV oversight, vendor coordination, and staff training, with a focus on continuous improvement and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• IT leadership and team/vendor management.
• Network infrastructure design, security, and troubleshooting.
• Hospital software/HIS implementation and integration (Softronic, HR systems).
• Cybersecurity and data privacy/compliance.
• Server management, backup, and disaster recovery planning.
• CCTV and surveillance systems oversight.
• Budgeting, asset/license inventory management, and vendor coordination.
• Strong communication and cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all IT operations within the hospital, including network infrastructure and systems.
• Implement and maintain secure and scalable hospital networking setups (LAN, WAN, WiFi, VPN).
• Lead the planning and rollout of hospital software systems.
• Ensure integration and smooth functioning of all medical and non-medical software.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT-related issues across all departments.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, installation, and maintenance through Supply Chain.
• Monitor system performance and ensure uptime of critical hospital services.
• Implement cybersecurity measures and ensure data privacy and protection compliance.
• Maintain inventory of IT assets, licenses, and warranties.
• Train and support staff on new technologies, systems, and IT best practices.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
• Supervise IT staff or outsourced service providers, if applicable.
• Ensure proper backup, storage, and recovery systems for medical records and critical data.
• Stay updated with healthcare technology trends and recommend necessary upgrades or innovations.
• Supervise server management and ensure proper system incorporation.
• Provide Softronic software and HR software support.
• Lead and supervise the CCTV camera section, ensuring proper surveillance of hospital premises.
• Manage the IT desk.
• Ensure proper integration of email and communication systems.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by management.
