Job summary

The Government of the Punjab, Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, invites applications for appointment on lump-sum contract basis for three years, with potential extension. Successful candidates shall be posted at one of the public sector teaching hospitals across Punjab.

Applicants must hold a Master’s Degree in Hospital Management, Health Services Management, Business Management or Public Administration, or a Medical Degree with an additional management qualification.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with an additional management qualification also acceptable.
• Minimum of ten years' experience in a senior leadership position managing a large organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee governance across public sector teaching hospitals in Punjab.
• Ensure execution of health programs in line with government policies and budgets.
• Manage risk, performance, and strategic partnerships for the department.

Job Overview

The Government of the Punjab, Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, invites applications from highly qualified, experienced and motivated professionals for appointment on lump-sum contract basis for a period of three years further extendable for one term. Successful candidates shall be posted at one of the public sector teaching hospitals across Punjab.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold a Master's Degree in Hospital Management, Health Services Management, Business Management or Public Administration from an HEC-recognized University/Institution, or a Medical Degree with an additional management qualification. Candidates must have a minimum of ten (10) years' experience in a senior leadership position managing an organization of at least 5,000 employees. Such candidates shall not be entitled to private practice during the tenure of appointment.
