Job summary

Aga Khan University Hospital in Pakistan is seeking a Clinical Nurse for the Home Health Programme. The successful candidate will provide personalized holistic nursing care, administer medications, and support patients in their health goals.

You will use electronic monitoring equipment, assess patients, educate families, and follow supervision guidelines to deliver safe, quality care in the home health setting.

Responsibilities

• demonstrate safe handling and proper use of equipment/supplies
• provide high quality personalized planned holistic nursing care to all assigned patients
• administer medication safely, applying knowledge of drug and dosages, refers drug manual and/or pharmacy information as required, monitors patient responses to medication and communicate reportable findings promptly
• counseling and educating patients on health behaviors
• demonstrate efficiency in use of electronic monitoring equipment
• demonstrate competence in patient assessment and care plan accordingly
• perform any other task assigned by supervisor.
