We are seeking a visionary Head of Data Science & Analytics to lead our analytics function for one of Pakistan's largest B2C mobile app portfolios. This role will be responsible for shaping the company's data strategy, enabling data-driven decision-making across growth, marketing, and product teams, and transforming large-scale user and advertising data into actionable business insights. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical depth with business acumen, leading advanced analytics, machine learning initiatives, and performance measurement frameworks that drive sustainable growth, optimize marketing spend, and maximize customer lifetime value.
- Lead the data science and analytics department, setting strategic direction and priorities.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data analytics roadmap that aligns with business goals.
- Define and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality, consistency, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with Marketing and other departments to ensure data infrastructure supports analytics requirements.
- Analyse complex datasets to extract meaningful insights, trends, and patterns that drive business value.
- Develop predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and other advanced analytics solutions.
- Develop and implement dashboards and reporting tools to provide real-time visibility into product performance.
- Utilise and integrate various advertising and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adjust, AppsFlyer, Facebook Ads, Google Adwords and others.
- Analyse advertising performance data to optimize ad spend, targeting, and campaign effectiveness.
- Provide insights into customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), and return on ad spend (ROAS).
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading data initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of statistical analysis and experimental design.
- Skilled in data visualisation tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Apache Superset to create insightful and interactive dashboards.
- Hands on experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms - GCP.
- Experience in translate campaign performance, customer behavior, and engagement data into strategies that grow revenue and improve ROI.
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning techniques and frameworks to set up an Analytics shop of the future.
- In-depth knowledge of advertising and analytics platforms.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate data into business strategy.
