Aga Khan University in Pakistan invites applications for the position of Head Nurse in the Department of Surgery. The successful candidate will lead the nursing team, manage 24/7 staffing, ensure timely physician rounds, and maintain high quality patient care.

The role requires strong management skills, collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, and a commitment to staff development and patient satisfaction. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Pakistan.

Responsabilidades

• Manage 24/7 staffing scheduling according to hospital standards for quality and safe patient care and remain available for shift schedule as per needs
• Ensure timely physician rounds for all patients and review and monitor treatment modalities and patient regimens
• Regularly meet patients and their families to resolve complaints and issues relating to care and any other related concerns
• Collaborate with all support service departments to ensure quality care and meet patient requirements
• Work with multidisciplinary teams on quality projects to improve unit core processes
• Establish and monitor unit-based standards, goals, objectives and priorities
• Encourage creativity, initiative and innovativeness in nursing staff and mentor nursing workforce for provision of good services and staff development
