Job summary

World Food Programme seeks a Driver to provide safe, timely transportation of personnel and approved goods across Pakistan's duty stations.

Requirements include secondary education, formal driver training, a valid license, and at least 2 years’ driving experience in a similar setting; English and Urdu fluency required.

Knowledge of safety rules, vehicle operations, and basic maintenance is essential; priority given to candidates with UN exposure.

Qualifications

• Secondary school completion with formal driver training.
• Valid driver’s license/certification to operate assigned vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation of authorized personnel and/or commodities following safety rules.
• Meet personnel at entry points and assist with visa and customs formalities.
• Maintain vehicle log books and report mechanical status to supervisor.
• Keep vehicle clean and well-maintained with required travel authorisations.
• Follow rules for field deliveries and report issues to supervisor.
• Perform basic office tasks and manage stores as needed.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by activity manager.
