Job description

As a Glazier in our company you will be responsible for cutting installing and repairing glass in various structures such as windows doors and storefronts You will use specialized tools and equipment to measure cut and shape glass according to specifications Our ideal candidate must have prior experience in the glazing industry and possess strong technical skills

Key Responsibilities

• Measure and cut glass using precision tools
• Install glass panes into frames or structures
• Repair or replace damaged glass components
• Remove old or broken glass from structures
• Fabricate metal frames for installation of glass panels
• Prepare surfaces for installation by cleaning and applying adhesives
• Ensure proper fit of glass panels by making necessary adjustments
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents or damage to property

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Glazier
• Strong knowledge of different types of glass and their properties
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or diagrams
• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
• Attention to detail with high level of precision
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in commercial glazing
