Job summary

Contour Software seeks an AI Engineer to design and build the next-gen GenAI platform, including RAG, embeddings, and semantic search pipelines. You will implement production-ready AI services, orchestrate LLMs, and shape governance for enterprise AI usage.

The role is based in Contour's Lahore/Islamabad centers, collaborating across R&D and product teams to deliver scalable AI capabilities at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building applied AI/ML systems, with strong recent GenAI experience.
• Proven experience shipping LLM-powered applications (RAG, embeddings, prompts).
• Deep understanding of vector search, semantic retrieval, and AI system evaluation.
• Experience building orchestration layers with frameworks like LangChain or equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the GenAI enterprise architecture from the ground up.
• Build production-ready RAG systems, semantic search pipelines, and embeddings workflows.
• Architect LLM orchestration layers for multi-step reasoning and tool use.
• Ensure scalable, secure, observable AI services with cost optimization.
