Job Overview
The Fundraising Manager is responsible for leading the fundraising team, developing and implementing strategies to meet fundraising goals, and managing relationships with donors and non-profit clients. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills to drive sustainable growth and social impact for the causes we support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the fundraising department, including junior and senior fundraising executives.
- Define and communicate monthly fundraising goals, KPIs, and targets to the team.
- Manage a team of 5–8 members and ensure consistent performance and productivity.
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies to meet or exceed monthly donation targets.
- Oversee the departmental calendar, including donor campaigns, cause promotions, and strategic events.
- Design strategic roadmaps to meet organizational fundraising and impact goals.
- Monitor donor trends, fundraising performance, and identify new opportunities for donor acquisition and retention.
- Collaborate with the analytics team to convert data insights into actionable fundraising strategies.
- Train and upskill fundraising team members in communication, pitching, and donor engagement techniques.
- Report monthly performance including fundraising revenue, donor metrics, and budget analysis.
- Report directly to the Country Head.
- Ensure high accountability and timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Act as a role model, promoting a positive and purpose-driven work environment.
- Build and manage donor relationships to ensure continued support and potential upgrades.
- Oversee day-to-day activities of the fundraising team and track progress against targets.
Job Specification
- Proven track record of leading teams and meeting revenue/fundraising goals.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and persuasive communication skills.
- Analytical Mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable plans.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM tools.
