Build dependable fintech software with Digital Cash Cowboy, a Canadian fintech business serving North American financial-services operations. We welcome capable, accountable engineers in Pakistan for either long-term full-time work or clearly scoped project collaboration.

What you will work on

• Laravel/PHP features, REST APIs, authenticated webhooks, queues and scheduled jobs.
• MySQL transactions, data integrity, safe migrations, authentication, access control and audit logging.
• Automated tests, debugging, Git-based code review, safe releases and Linux/Nginx troubleshooting.
• Clear progress updates, realistic estimates, early escalation of blockers, documentation and reliable handover.

Two ways to work with us

1. Long-term full-time:

PKR 80,000-180,000 per month, aligned with Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm Vancouver time (evening/night in Pakistan). Alternative overlap hours and proportionate compensation may be discussed and must be agreed in writing.

2. Project collaboration:

You do not need to commit to a permanent full-time schedule. Agree a defined scope, deliverables, milestones, acceptance criteria, handover and communication overlap before starting. Execution hours can be flexible around agreed deadlines and meetings. Project fees are negotiated separately in writing; the advertised monthly salary range applies only to the full-time option. No guaranteed project volume or retainer is implied.

Our selection process

A short CV/portfolio review, a 15-minute independent online PHP basics screen, then an interview with an authorized existing work example and a 5-10-minute live screen-sharing task. Assessments use synthetic data only: no client work, production access or unpaid project deliverables. The short screen is an initial filter, not proof of complete Laravel or production expertise.
