Job summary

Vertxsoft is seeking a backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain backend systems with a strong focus on database management, API development, and backend logic implementation.

You will collaborate with frontend developers and product teams to ensure backend services meet requirements, while monitoring performance and applying optimizations for efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 4–5 years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Django, FastAPI and databases (SQL/NoSQL).

Responsibilities

• Backend Development: build and maintain RESTful APIs and services.

We are Seeking backend engineer who work on the design, development, and maintenance of backend systems, focusing on database management, API development, and backend logic implementation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Backend Development: Assist in developing backend services, including RESTful APIs and databases.

Database Management: Implement and manage relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring optimal performance.

API Development: Develop secure and efficient APIs for frontend integration.

Testing & Debugging: Write unit and integration tests to ensure the quality of backend code and identify and fix bugs in the system.

Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers and product teams to ensure the backend services meet product requirements and expectations.

Optimization: Monitor backend systems for performance issues and implement optimizations to improve efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

Experience: 4-5 years of experience in backend development.

Skills: Proficiency in backend programming languages (Python, Django, FastAPI) and experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience: Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and experience with version control systems (Git).

Working Conditions:

Type: Full-time, office based.
