Job summary

Dengage in Islamabad is seeking a skilled full-stack software engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using C#, .NET Core, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks.

You will build RESTful APIs, work with relational databases, and collaborate with product managers, QA, and other developers to deliver high-quality features. A strong foundation in OOP, data structures, and Agile practices is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 3-5 years of professional full-stack experience.
• Strong understanding of OOP and data structures.
• Hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, or similar.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web apps.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
• Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue.js, React, or similar frameworks.
• Build and maintain backend applications, services, and RESTful APIs using C#, .NET Core, or similar technologies.
• Design, develop, and optimize relational databases, including SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services and third-party APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code following software development best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application performance and functionality issues.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and system design activities.

• Implement appropriate security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Write and maintain unit tests and integration tests.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in full stack software development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), data structures, and software development principles.
• Hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, or similar backend frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Practical experience with Vue.js, React.js, or similar frontend frameworks.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Good understanding of relational databases, SQL queries, and database optimization.
• Familiarity with Entity Framework Core or other ORM frameworks.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and web application security.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Previous experience developing SaaS products or cloud-based applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Docker, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with Redis, MongoDB, or other NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of message queues such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
• Experience working with high-volume data processing applications.
• Exposure to marketing technology (MarTech), customer engagement platforms, or customer data platforms (CDP).
• Basic understanding of application performance monitoring and optimization.
