Job summary

We are seeking a part-time truck driver to join a Lahore-based transportation operation. Responsibilities include safe operation of a commercial truck, route planning, and timely deliveries within the city. Pre-trip and post-trip inspections, adherence to traffic laws, and clear communication with dispatchers and customers are essential.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and a valid commercial truck license (category C+). Proficiency in English or Urdu is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Valid driving license for commercial trucks (category C or above).
• Proven experience as a truck driver preferred but not required.
• Good knowledge of Lahore roads and traffic regulations.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs).
• Excellent communication skills in English or Urdu.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials within Lahore
• Plan routes to ensure timely delivery of goods to their designated locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure it is in good working condition
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving on the road
• Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding any delays, accidents or other issues that may arise during transportation
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times
• Maintain cleanliness of the truck both inside and outside
